I made a bootable usb and installed Windows 10 using it. I then used Bootcamp assistant which automatically detected the NTFS partition. I already had a separate partition which was a leftover from Ubuntu in it, so I didn't partitioned it using Bootcamp and directly formatted it in NTFS.
